GPL-1 drugs have changed the landscape of weight loss. This FDA approved drugs were originally made and used for type II diabetics and sold under the name Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are compounded versions of the same drugs with dramatic weight loss results. Studies have shown up to 15% total body weight loss using the GLP-1 medications.
